Terms & Conditions
Last updated 10 September 2026
These terms apply to your use of BudgetRite. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them.
1. What BudgetRite is
BudgetRite is a budgeting tool. It lets you record your income, expenses, loans, savings, superannuation and investment properties, and shows you the resulting cashflow position. You can create more than one budget, copy an existing budget to model a different scenario, and download a summary of your figures.
2. BudgetRite is not financial advice
This is the most important thing on this page.
BudgetRite is a calculation tool. It organises and adds up the figures you give it. It does not know your circumstances, your objectives or your needs, and nothing it produces is personal financial advice or a recommendation.
The figures BudgetRite shows are general information only. Before making any financial decision based on them, you should consider whether it is appropriate for your own objectives, financial situation and needs, and seek advice from a licensed financial adviser.
3. The figures depend on what you enter
BudgetRite calculates from the information you put into it. If that information is wrong, incomplete or out of date, the results will be too.
You are responsible for checking that what you enter is correct, and for checking the results before relying on them.
4. Your account
You need an account to use BudgetRite. You must give accurate details when you sign up, keep your password secure, and not share your account with anyone else.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
5. Subscription and payment
Access to BudgetRite requires a paid subscription.
The current price is shown on the Pricing page.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
If a payment fails, your access may be suspended until it is resolved.
7. Your information
The budgets you create belong to you. We store them so the service can work, and so you can come back to them.
You can download your figures at any time using the export function.
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
8. Using BudgetRite properly
You must not:
- use BudgetRite for anything unlawful
- try to access another person's account or data
- attempt to interfere with, disrupt or reverse engineer the service
- resell or redistribute access to the service
We may suspend or close an account that does any of these.
9. Availability
We aim to keep BudgetRite available, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. It may be unavailable at times for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
10. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, and those rights cannot be excluded.
Subject to that: BudgetRite is a tool for organising your own figures, and we are not responsible for financial decisions you make using it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we will publish the updated version on this page and change the date at the top. Continuing to use BudgetRite after that means you accept the updated terms.
