Cookie Policy

BudgetRite uses cookies to make the site work and to keep you signed in securely. This page explains what we use and why.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages, such as the fact that you are signed in.

The cookies BudgetRite uses

Session cookie

Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you would have to sign in again on every page. It is removed when you close your browser or sign out.

Security token cookie

Protects the forms on the site against a common type of attack, by confirming that a request came from you and not from another website. It lasts for your session.

Payment provider cookies

When you view the subscription or payment pages, our payment provider Stripe sets its own cookies in your browser (__stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) to help detect fraudulent use of the payment form. BudgetRite does not read or use these cookies itself.

Address lookup cookies

The address field on your Personal Details page uses Google's Maps service to suggest addresses as you type. Loading this feature may set cookies from Google.

Cookies we do not use

BudgetRite does not use cookies to track you across other websites, and does not use them for advertising.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies listed above, you will not be able to sign in or use BudgetRite.

Changes

If the cookies we use change, this page will be updated.
